The projects and some of the students were featured in a Good Morning America segment, filmed at the American Airlines Center. The students braved the wind, ice and bitter cold –and made it!

Anti-Sugary Milk Campaign: Foodie Jamie Oliver’s campaign to combat childhood obesity has put chocolate and strawberry milk in its crosshairs. Chocolate milk has the same amount of sugar as a soft drink, and excess sugar increases a child’s obesity and Type 2 diabetes risk significantly. Oliver is asking schools to promote plain, white milk in his campaign at Jamie’s Food Revolution.
