Irma L. Rangel YWLS is committed to promoting a safe and healthy learning environment where students are secure in the pursuit of educational success. In order to establish and maintain a positive learning environment, Irma L. Rangel YWLS expects behavior that reflects mutual respect, cooperation and tolerance.
We have high academic and social expectations for all students. Academic expectations stress day to day work, as well as the joy of learning and its importance for growth and development.
Students are responsible for knowing the school rules, understanding their importance, and abiding by them throughout the school year. All rules and regulations are in effect during school hours on school grounds, in school vehicles, and on school trips. They also apply during after school activity time. Students are expected to observe all rules and regulations, take care of the school, respect teachers, care for schoolmates, keep good discipline, study diligently, and be serious, honest, responsible, polite and neat in appearance.
